Guter Junge is a German television film from 2008 by director Torsten C. Fischer . The film deals with the story of a young person dealing with pedophilia .
action
After the death of his mother, the young boy Sven moves in with his father Achim, who works as a taxi driver in Berlin . Sven hardly speaks to his father at first, but he hopes that this will go away in time.
Achim's friend Julia is increasingly wondering why Sven often meets little boys. She suspects that Sven is homosexual. However, Achim soon finds shocking videos on Sven. Julia suggests therapy, but Achim is sure that he and Sven can solve the problem on their own. They destroy the camera and video cassettes. From then on, Internet and children's playgrounds are taboo for Sven.
However, family life is becoming increasingly difficult. Achim understands that he cannot "reverse the polarity" of his son. A date he planned for his son with the daughter of a work colleague fails. When a " child molester " is mentioned in a tabloid , Achim recognizes his son in a phantom image.
Eventually Sven is arrested by the police. Achim visits his son in prison.

Fischer have succeeded in creating a startling, quiet, almost lyrical film that is devoted to a highly explosive topic without any excitement, but with a feeling for the dramatic and psychological implications. In its modest way, the film speaks of the inadequacy of the therapy society as well as of fatherly love, it promotes respect for a young person whose exaggerated sensuality condemns him to "weird" past the promise of happiness of normality. "
