Liv Lisa Fries
Liv Lisa Fries (* 31 October 1990 in Berlin ) is a German actress .
Life
As a teenager, Fries took acting lessons, among others with Kristiane Kupfer . She graduated from high school in 2010 and lives in Berlin. She was seen in various television productions, for example in SOKO Cologne , Kommissar Stolberg or Bella Block . She had her first leading role in 2006 in Schimanski - Tod in der Siedlung , where she acted alongside Götz George and Ludwig Trepte . In 2010, she was shown for the first time in a larger role on the big screen in the debut film Bis zum Blut - Brothers on Probation , the film Romeos was shown at the Berlinale 2011 .
For her leading role as a violent youngster in the ARD drama She Has Deserved it , Fries was awarded the Günter Strack TV Prize in 2011 and in 2012 she received the Lilli Palmer & Curd Juergens memory camera as the best young actress when she was awarded the Golden Camera . In 2011 she was the youngest member of the jury at the Münster Film Festival , and in 2014 she was a member of the jury at the 10th German Film Festival in Ludwigshafen. For the role of Lea, who has cystic fibrosis, in And I'm Dead Tomorrow at Noon , Fries was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize and the Max Ophüls Prize for best young actress in 2014.
Fries has played the main character Charlotte Ritter in the series Babylon Berlin , the most expensive German television production to date , since 2017 . In 2018 she won the Grimme Prize for her performance .
