Benjamin Hembus

Benjamin Hembus (* 1968 in Munich ) is a German film editor and author.

Life

In 1988 Benjamin Hembus moved from Munich to Berlin , where he trained as an assistant editor; since then he has been active as an editor. He was nominated for the German Television Award and the German Camera Award in the editing category.

After the death of his father, the film critic Joe Hembus , he expanded his western lexicon . He is also active as a photo artist.

Benjamin Hembus is a member of the German Film Academy and of the Bundesverband Filmschnitt Editor eV (BFS) .
