Johann Feindt

Johann Feindt (born March 16, 1951 in Hamburg ) is a German cameraman , director and screenwriter .

Life

Johann Feindt studied from 1976 at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin . His debut film, a documentary about the actor Ernst Busch , was released in 1978. While he mainly made documentaries as a director, he also works as a cameraman for film and television productions in the fictional field. In 1984 the documentary won him Trying to live the film strip in silver one. He received the Grimme Prize for two of his documentaries : 2007 for White Raven and 2004 for Reporter Missing . He has been a member of the Berlin Academy of the Arts since 2013 .
