Daniel Michel (* 1987 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Daniel Michel was discovered as a film actor in 2008 by the director Lars Jessen . Jessen cast him in the role of Flo, who lives in a small town in Schleswig-Holstein , in his literary film adaptation of Dorfpunks (2009).

This was followed by supporting roles in various TV series and in Hermine Huntgeburth's TV literary film adaptation Neue Vahr Süd (2010). In the 8th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2011), he took on an episode role as the suspect son Timo at the side of Heinz Werner Kraehkamp and Ramona Kunze-Libnow .

In the film drama Die Räuberin (2012), the directorial debut of the screenwriter Markus Busch , he embodied, with Birge Schade as a partner, the northern German provincial teenager Thore, who enters into a strange closeness-distance relationship with a much older woman.

In Katrin Gebbe's psychodrama Tore tanzt (2013), in which Julius Feldmeier was his partner, he played a supporting role as Hamburg's Jesus freak and best friend of the title character. In the Ruhrpottkomedy Ein Schnitzel für alle (TV first broadcast: November 2013) he was the wheelchair roommate Robert , at the side of Armin Rohde , Ludger Pistor and Rick Okon . In the film drama Nordstrand (theatrical release: January 2014), he was seen as the 27-year-old younger brother Volker, who suffered from his violent father in his childhood and now tries to get along with his brother when he returns to his parents' house Deal with past traumas.

In the TV docudrama My Daughter Anne Frank (2015) he played the staunch anti-Semite Tonny Ahlers, who blackmailed Otto Frank and his family. He later took on several episode roles in German and international TV series.
