The Salzlandsparkasse is a public-law savings bank based in Staßfurt . It is one of the municipal savings banks in Germany . Its business area includes the Salzlandkreis , which is also the owner of the Sparkasse.

The Salzlandsparkasse is an institution under public law . The legal basis is the Savings Bank Act for Saxony-Anhalt. The organs of the Sparkasse are the board of directors , the credit committee and the administrative board .

The market area is divided into the following competence centers for special advice:

The Salzlandsparkasse has 46 branches and 11 self-service locations with a total of 68 ATMs and 54 account statement printers. The Salzlandsparkasse also has a 100% subsidiary:

history

Today's Salzlandsparkasse is essentially the result of the merger of two savings banks:

  • Kreissparkasse Aschersleben-Staßfurt (formerly Kreissparkasse Aschersleben and Kreissparkasse Staßfurt)
  • Sparkasse Elbe-Saale (formerly Kreissparkasse Bernburg and Kreissparkasse Schönebeck)

In 1935 the Schönebecker Sparkasse took its seat in the Villa Siegel in Schönebeck. Since January 1st, 2009 the institute has been called "Salzlandsparkasse".
