Salt shepherd

The Salzscheffel was a measure of volume in Prussia and often had the prefix “Berliner”. The scope was Geldern .

Salt ships with a crew of three on the way to Ebersburg or Mautern were not allowed to trade in salt on the way . A salt sheffle was due as taxes on the way to the salt market.
