Sam Alves
Sam Alves (born June 3, 1989 in Fortaleza ) is a Brazilian pop singer . Alves won the casting show The Voice Brasil in 2013 .
biography
Alves was abandoned as a baby and raised with adoptive parents. When he was four, his family moved to the United States and he was raised in Massachusetts, in the northeastern United States. In spring 2013 he applied for the talent show The Voice USA , but was not selected in the blind auditions . He then applied to The Voice Brasil in his country of origin later that year . This time all four coaches wanted to include him in their teams. He became a favorite and won the season two finale in December.
His debut album was released by Universal Music in 2014 . In May it reached the top 5 on the Brazilian sales charts.
