Gero Steffen

Gero Steffen (* 1964 in East Berlin ) is a German cameraman .

Life

Gero Steffen studied cinematography from 1988 to 1993 at the University of Film and Television in Babelsberg and graduated in 1995. Steffen lives in Berlin .

His movie debut was Knockin 'on Heavens Door in 1997 . In 2001 Gero Steffen was honored with the German Film Prize for his outstanding individual performance in the film Frau2 sucht Happy End . He was nominated for the German Camera Prize in 2005 for Die Luftbrücke and in 2001 for At the end of the tunnel , and in 2007 for Wir sind das Volk with the German Television Prize . In 2014 Steffen received the Bavarian TV Prize for the crime scene Auf Ewig Dein .
