Sam Hewson (born November 28, 1988 in Bolton ) is an English football player . The central midfielder is currently under contract with Manchester United .

Career

society

In the 2003/04 season Sam Hewson came for the U-17 team of Manchester United for use and scored his first goal in the second game. In the summer of 2005 he became a regular player in the U-18 team of the "Red Devils" and completed a total of 28 games in the 2005/06 season, four of them in the FA Youth Cup .

In the 2006/07 season, Hewson was the captain of the U-18 team, leading the team 26 times on the field and also played the final against Liverpool , which was lost on penalties , during eight games in the FA Youth Cup .

National team

Hewson made his debut for the England U-19 national team in February 2007 in a friendly against Poland. He then also completed the qualifying games for the U-19 European Championship against Russia and the Czech Republic.
