Samuel "Sam" Pera Junior (born March 11, 1989 in Rarotonga ) is a weightlifter from the Cook Islands .
Career
Sam Pera Junior took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics as the flag bearer of his country , where he was able to achieve twelfth place in the 105 kg and 350 kg category. His father, Sam Nunuke Pera , had already competed in the Summer Olympics several times as a weight lifter.
At the Oceania Championships 2008 Pera was third.
