"Samichlaus" is the Swiss name for Saint Nicholas . The beer was originally brewed by the Hürlimann brewery in Zurich . After it was taken over by Feldschlösschen in 1997, however, it was closed and the Samichlaus beer was no longer brewed. The trademark rights were sold to the Austrian brewery Schloss Eggenberg in Vorchdorf , which has been producing the beer again since 2000.
