Samuel Parkman Tuckerman
Samuel Parkman Tuckerman (born February 11, 1819 in Boston / Massachusetts , † June 30, 1890 in Newport / Rhode Island ) was an American composer.
The student of Karl Zeuner worked as an organist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Boston from 1840 . After a four-year stay in England, he became organist at Trinity Church in 1853 . Between 1856 and 1864 he lived again in England and Switzerland. He published several collections of hymns and anthems and composed a large number of church music works.
