Samuel Serrano
Samuel Serrano (* 17th November 1952 in Toa Alta , Puerto Rico ) is a former Puerto Rican boxer in the super featherweight and normal boom .

Serrano suffered his first bankruptcy in his third fight. On October 16, 1976 he won the world championship belt of the WBA association by a unanimous point victory over 15 rounds against the Philippines Ben Villaflor . A total of 10 title defenses followed. In August 1980 he lost the belt to Yasutsune Uehara .
In the rematch he defeated Uehara and regained the title. This time he could only defend it three times. In 1997 he ended his career.
