Samuel Sherrard

Samuel M. Sherrard (* 1941 ) is an evangelical clergyman and former executive director of Youth for Christ International .

Life

Sherrard was born in Sri Lanka and was the founder of the Youth for Christ (YFC) branch in Colombo in 1966 . In 1974 Sherrard became the executive director of YFC in Hawaii and also pastored a congregation in Pearl City . In 1994 he became the regional director of YFC for the Americas and finally in 1996 the president and chief executive officer of YFC International.
