San Benigno is a modern administrative district in the Italian port city of Genoa . It was built between the 1980s and 1990s in a zone adjacent to the port of Genoa . The landmarks of the district include the skyscrapers of the World Trade Center and the San Benigno Torre Nord .

San Benigno has a small train station, Genova Via di Francia , which is only served during rush hour. Also in the quarter are some of the final stops of the city bus company AMT .

Of greater importance is the ferry terminal in San Benigno , designed by the architect Aldo Luigi Rizzo . From here ferries leave for southern Italy , Sardinia , Spain , Tunisia and Morocco .
