The San Francisco Futbol Club is a professional football club from La Chorrera , Panama . He plays in the ANAPROF , the highest soccer league in Panama.
The club plays its home games at the Estadio Agustín "Muquita" Sánchez. So far, San Francisco FC has won a total of four ANAPROF championships since 1994. The last one was won in 2007.
San Francisco FC was founded in 1971 and has played with ANAPROF since it was founded. The club was actually called Club Deportivo La Previsora and previously played in the La Liga Distritorial de Fútbol de La Chorrera, a regional football league.
The current name comes from the patron saint of the La Chorrera district, San Francisco de Paula.
By winning the title in 2007, San Francisco qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League 2008/09 .
