La Chorrera

La Chorrera is a city in the Central American Republic of Panama . It is located about 30 km west of Panama City in the Panamá Oeste province .
La Chorrera has about 63,000 inhabitants. The landmark of La Chorrera is "El Chorro", the waterfall, which is about 7 meters high and 15 meters wide. In the area around La Chorrera there are many other, albeit smaller, waterfalls to be seen, which is why the name "Chorrera" (un chorro = a waterfall) came about. The center of Chorrera is the "Parque Feuillet", the hub of all public transport in this city. From here you can take buses every minute to the capital, but also to the directly adjacent Panamericana , from where you can take a bus to the other end of the country, the city of David .
