San Gerardo Maiella (Latin: Sancti Gerardi Maiella ) is a Roman titular church .

The parish was founded on April 20, 1978 with the decree Sua santità by Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti . The church was built in 1980/81 according to a design by the architects Aldo Aloysi and Ernesto Vichi. The church was consecrated on March 25, 1982 by Cardinal Vicar Poletti. On November 26, 1994, the elevation to the title church of the Roman Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II followed.

Patron saint is St. Gerardo Maiella . He was a lay brother of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer ( Redemptorist ) and is considered the patron saint of born and unborn children and mothers.

The modern low-rise concrete building has a square floor plan and is set between existing buildings on Via Romolo Balzani . The sacristy, priest house and parish hall as well as a side chapel for weekday masses are located in the outbuildings. There is a free-standing bell tower at the entrance to the church area. The interior is dominated by the concrete cassette roof structure. Stripes with glass paintings are embedded in the entrance area and on the facades. The artistic work is by Maria Matteini.

The church is located at Via Romolo Balzani 74 in the Roman district of Prenestino-Centocelle .
