Prenestino Centocelle
Prenestino-Centocelle is a district in the east of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Via Praenestina and the fortress Centrocelle Centum Cellae of Constantine the Great . The quarter is called Q.XIX and is part of Municipio VII . It has 53,492 inhabitants and has an area of 2.0816 km².
It forms the zone urbanistiche designated with the code 7.a , with 56,408 inhabitants and an area of 3 km².
history
It was founded in 1961 from the eastern part of the Prenestino-Labicano district between Via Tor de Schiavi / Viale dell Primavera and viale Palmiro Togliatti. There are still street signs with the number Q.VII.
