Aurelio (Rome)
Aurelio [au'rɛ: ljo] is a district in the north of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Via Aurelia . The quarter is called Q.XIII and is part of Municipio XIII and XIV . It has 41,920 inhabitants and has an area of 4.7151 km².
It forms the zone urbanistiche designated with the code 2.b ' , with 23,720 inhabitants in 2010.
history
Aurelio is one of the first 15 districts established in Rome in 1911 and officially recognized in 1921.
