Tiburtino (district)
Tiburtino is a district in the southeast of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Via Tiburtina leading through the district , an old Roman road that led to Tibur (today's name Tivoli ). The Romans usually referred to the quarter as Monteverde. It is referred to as Q.VI and is part of the municipality of II , IV and V . It has 22,563 inhabitants and has an area of 3.7123 km².

Tiburtino is one of the first 15 districts established in Rome in 1911 and officially recognized in 1921.
