Don Bosco is a district in the southeast of the Italian capital Rome . It is on Via Tuscolana . The name is derived from the Basilica di San Giovanni Bosco , which in turn takes its name from Johannes Bosco , the youth pastor of Turin. In the administration, the quarter was run as Suburbio V. In the 1930s, urbanization began around the Cinecittà, which was founded in 1936 .
