Flaminio (Rome)
Flaminio is a district in the north of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Via Flaminia . The quarter is called QI, is part of Municipio II and has 13,018 inhabitants and an area of 1.1877 km².
It forms the «zone urbanistiche» with the code 2.c , with 13,491 inhabitants in 2010.
history
Flaminio is one of the first 15 districts established in Rome in 1911 and officially recognized in 1921.
