Parioli (district)

Parioli is a district in the north of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Monti Parioli tuff hills that border the district. The quarter is called Q.II and is part of Municipio II . It has 22,346 inhabitants and has an area of ​​4.7506 km².

It forms the zone urbanistiche designated with the code 2.b , with 23,720 inhabitants in 2010.

history

Parioli is one of the first 15 districts established in Rome in 1911 and officially recognized in 1921.
