Salario is a district in the north of the Italian capital Rome . The name is derived from the Via Salaria . It is referred to as Q.IV and is part of Municipio II . It has 8548 inhabitants and an area of 0.4688 km².
It forms the zone urbanistiche designated with the code 2.d , with 26,375 inhabitants in 2010.

Salario is one of the first 15 districts established in Rome in 1911 and officially recognized in 1921.
