Cesano is a fraction in the northwest of the city of Rome and also the name of the 52nd zone of the Agro Romano . The zone covers around 38 km² and has around 10,000 inhabitants.

Location and traffic

The place Cesano di Roma is about 30 kilometers outside of the Roman city center in the Sabatine Mountains , not far from Lago di Martignano and Lago di Bracciano . The Via Cassia passes east of the village . Cesano has a train station on the Rome – Viterbo line, which is served by the FR3 line of Ferrovia Regionale Lazio .

Others

The Casaccia Research Center of the Italian research institute ENEA and the infantry school of the Italian army are located near Cesano .
