Sant'Ireneo a Centocelle
Sant'Ireneo a Centocelle is a Roman Catholic titular church in Rome . It is dedicated to Saint Irenaeus of Lyon .
The address is Via dei Castani 291 in the northern part of the suburb Centocelle in the Prenestino-Centocelle district.
history
On July 17, 1954, the parish was established by a decree by Cardinal Vicar Clemente Micara . In the same year the church was built in a modernist-neo-Romanesque style based on a design by Giorgio Guidi. It was elevated to the title Church on February 14, 2015 by Pope Francis .
