San Patricio del Chañar is a municipality in the Añelo department in the east of the Neuquén province , in southwest Argentina .
geography
The municipality is located 45 kilometers from the provincial capital Neuquén on the left bank of the Río Neuquén .

The community was founded on May 21, 1973.
