architecture

The single-nave church is built from large granite blocks . The outer walls are structured by buttresses . The semicircular apse, which is divided into five fields with archivolt windows by half columns, is particularly artistic . The windows are framed by slender columns, the capitals and bases of which are decorated with floral and geometric motifs. The archivolts are provided with chessboard friezes and rest on fighters , which create a horizontal structure. The half-columns connect blind arcades , on carved corbels rest. The middle field is broken up by a rosette and an oculus and is framed by an archivolt with a floral decoration.

The open bell tower ( espadaña ) rises above the north portal . Like the portals of the south and west façades, the north portal opens into a field framed by buttresses and blind arcades over corbels and is framed by columns with carved capitals and archivolts. On the tympanum of the north portal, like on the simpler south portal, there is a relief of a cross.
