Sandra Prinsloo
Sandra Prinsloo , also temporarily listed as Sandra Prinzlow (born September 15, 1947 in Pretoria ) is a South African actress .
Life
Prinsloo became known in the role as Kate Thomson in the 1980 film The Gods Must Be Crazy . In Germany she was also popular because of her involvement in the film adaptation of the novel Ein toter Taucher does not take gold by Heinz G. Konsalik by Harald Reinl .
In addition to her work as a film and theater actress, she has also been a theater director since 2005. She is married to Willem van Riet. In the television adventure series Six feet of the country (Original: Six feet of the country), she played the lead role in seven episodes in 1981.
Awards
- In 1997 she received the FNB Vita Award in Johannesburg for her leading role in the play People Are Living There .
- In 2014 she received the Order of Ikhamanga in silver.
