Sandro Baldoni
Alessandro Baldoni (born December 12, 1954 in Assisi ) is an Italian director and screenwriter .
Life
Baldoni first worked as a journalist for Il Manifesto , L'Espresso , Cuore and Il Male , before he attracted public attention as a director of commercials , which awarded him early on with awards (such as in Cannes and New York). In 1993 he founded the production company Pasodoble with Jonny Dell'Orto and wrote and directed his first feature film, Strane storie , a collage of grotesque, surreal images and dream stories. His second film, made three years later, dealt with the world of advertising known to him. Then he turned to theater work; his third film was not released until 2008.
Baldoni is not to be confused with the painter of the same name (* 1943).
