Sandro Witt

Sandro Witt (born June 15, 1981 in Pirna ) is a German local politician ( Die Linke ) and deputy chairman of the DGB district Hesse-Thuringia.

biography

After graduating from secondary school and completing community service, Sandro Witt completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk. He then studied at the Academy of Labor in Frankfurt (Main). From 2010 to 2014 he was organizational secretary and consultant for vocational training in the DGB district of Hesse-Thuringia. Sandro Witt has been Deputy DGB District Chairman of Hesse-Thuringia since 2014.

Party and politics

Sandro Witt has been a member of Die Linke (PDS at the time) since 2001. From 2004 to 2005 he was a member of the city council of the PDS in Suhl (resigned due to studies). From 2011 to 2014 Sandro Witt was deputy chairman of the party Die Linke in Thuringia. On February 12, 2017, Sandro Witt took part in the election of the German Federal President 2017 as a member of the Federal Assembly .
