Sangob Rattanusorn ( Thai : สงบ รัต ต นุ ส สร ณ์ ; * 1943 ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In his home country he won singles for the first time in 1962, where he remained the dominant player until 1970. Only in 1964 did Somsook Boonyasukhanonda contest him for the title. In 1967 he won the double classification with Chavalert Chumkum for the first time . A year later both defended the title. From 1970 to 1972 he was successful three times in doubles, this time with Bandid Jaiyen at his side.

Internationally, he won the US Open mixed with England's Margaret Barrand in 1963 and the Canadian Open mixed with Lois Alston from the USA in 1968 . In 1968 he also won the double titles at the Canadian Open and the Dutch Open with Chavalert Chumkum . This year both were also in the semi-finals of the All England . At the Asian Games in 1961 he was third in singles and at the Asian Championships in 1962 he won bronze in doubles with Sanguan Anandhanonda .
