Sanguine was the name of a project for the former US SLF transmitter, which worked on the 76 Hertz frequency  and was used to alert deep-submerged submarines . Up to September 2004 two transmission stations were operated in the USA ( Michigan and Wisconsin ), each of which was equipped with ground dipoles as antennas.

A comparable transmitter of the Russian Navy is ZEVS .
