The medical officer candidate training allowance Regulation ( SanOAAusbGV ) regulates in Germany the right to education money from candidates for the career of the officers of the Medical Service ( medical officer candidates ) that the omission of the money and benefits in kind to study ( human , dental , veterinary medicine , pharmacy are on leave) .

The basic amount of the training allowance corresponds to the basic salary and the official allowances that are stipulated in the Federal Salary Act for the respective grade . Family allowance is granted. If sections of the course are completed part-time , the training allowance is reduced in the same proportion as the weekly training time. Benefits in cash or in kind that a medical officer candidate receives from other sources for an activity prescribed in the licensing or appointment regulations are offset against the training allowance .

The predecessor was the “Ordinance on the Training Fee for Medical Officer Candidates” (SanOAAusbgV) of September 12, 2000.

Changes

The ordinance was last amended by Article 10 of the Bundeswehr Deployment Strengthening Act of August 4, 2019. In the merely editorial changes, the words "Medical Officer Candidate" have been replaced by "Medical Officer Candidate" (female form accordingly).
