Building of the former Sankt-Lars-Hospital which nowadays houses a state polyclinic (Swedish: vårdcentral).

The St. Lars-Park is located south of the city of Lund (Sweden) in the district Klostergården . It was laid out in 1877 during the construction of the Lunder Hospital - renamed Sankt-Lars-Krankenhaus (Swedish: S: t Lars sjukhus ) in 1931 . The Sankt Lars Hospital was a psychiatric clinic and the establishment and maintenance of the park was part of the therapy. Henrik August Flindt from Copenhagen was entrusted with the planning of the park . The immediate vicinity of the clinic building was laid out in the so-called German style, with geometric elements and straight paths. Some of the main connecting routes were also laid out in a straight line, while the rest were kept in the English style, with spaciously curved paths.

Nowadays the park is characterized by old, species-rich trees from u. a. Beech, chestnut, oak, poplar, ash, alder, sycamore maple and birch, which is so dense in places that it has the character of a forest. A small river, the Höje å , flows through the park and enriches it with meadow landscape elements.

In 2013, the last treatment facility for the mentally ill left Sankt-Lars-Park. Nowadays the buildings serve other purposes, mainly as a school or kindergarten.
