The Höje å is a 35 kilometers long, small river in the Swedish province of Skåne with a catchment area of 316 km². The river has its source about 20 kilometers southeast of Lund from the Häckebergasjön.

The Höje å has two source rivers over the Häckebergasjön , namely Björkesåkraån and Olstorpsån, which both flow into the Häckebergasjön. The river has no significant tributaries.

The river initially flows briefly in a northerly direction, bends north-east of the village of Genarp in a north-westerly direction and flows, also to the north, past Staffanstorp . Later, he forms the southwest Lunder district Värpinge municipal boundary between Lund and Staffanstorp and finally opens directly in the Marina of Lomma in the Sound .

The height differences on the way of Höje å from Häckebergasjön to Lomma are only slight. It's 30 meters on the 30 kilometers between Genarp and Lomma. The amount of water transported is correspondingly 2.5 m³ / sec. (measured at Trolleberg near Lund) low.

The Höje å crosses a total of three municipalities : Lund , Staffanstorp and Lomma . The river's catchment area includes a total of seven municipalities. In addition to the three already mentioned, there are Kävlinge , Sjöbo , Skurup and Svedala .
