Publishing building in Malmö

Sydsvenskan (older names: Sydsvenska Dagbladet and Sydsvenska Dagbladet Snällposten ) is a Swedish morning newspaper with a daily circulation of around 130,000 copies. The majority of the subscribers live in Skåne and neighboring regions.

The newspaper has been published in Malmö since 1848 and is politically referred to as "independent liberal". It belongs to the publishing house Tidningens AB Marieberg , a subsidiary of Bonnier . Editor-in-chief and responsible publisher has been Daniel Sandström since February 13, 2008.

Sydsvenskan is published in three editions, with the households furthest from Malmö being supplied first. Malmö residents, on the other hand, receive a newer edition.
