The Sankt-Siegfried-Quelle ( Swedish : Sankt Sigfrids källa ) is a small spring on the southern shore of Lake Vallsjön in the Swedish municipality of Sävsjö .

There is a local legend about the small spring , according to which its origin is related to Saint Siegfried . He is said to have come to Vallsjö during his missionary work and asked the residents for water. When everyone refused him water, he is said to have fallen on his knees and asked God for water. The spring then rose from the ground. The imprints of Siegfried's knees are said to still be recognizable in a stone at the source.

Lake Vallsjön, where the spring water flows, is just a few meters north of the spring.
