Sansei Technologies, Inc. (formerly Sansei Yusoki Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese company specializing in the manufacture of elevators , stage equipment and leisure facilities .
history
Sansei Yusoki was founded on February 27, 1951 and has expanded over the years to include other subsidiaries including Sansei Maintenance, Sansei Facilities, San Ace and Telmic Corporation. In November 2012, the US-based ride and roller coaster manufacturer S&S Worldwide, Inc. was acquired with a majority stake of 77.3%. As of January 1, 2014, the company was officially renamed Sansei Technologies, Inc. On March 30, 2018 it was announced that Sansei Technologies had acquired 100% of the Dutch roller coaster manufacturer Vekoma Rides Manufacturing BV . The company itself produces both roller coasters and carousels. The Roller Coaster Data Base (RCDB) currently lists 19 of the company's roller coasters.
