Santa Maria is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Óbidos . The community had 2030 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities Óbidos (Santa Maria), Óbidos (São Pedro) and Sobral da Lagoa were merged to form the new municipality of Santa Maria, São Pedro e Sobral da Lagoa .
