Santiago de Cuba is a baseball team from the Cuban series Nacional . The home stadium is the Estadio Guillermón Moncada in Santiago de Cuba . The club won the national championship three times in a row from 1999 to 2001. The team also won the last two titles in 2007 and 2008.

Only one player was sent to the World Baseball Classic in 2006 , namely pitcher Ormari Romero .
