Sapogenins are chemical compounds from the group of triterpenes . Sapogenins are the aglycones of saponins , e.g. B. from the Chilean soap tree Quillaja saponaria . Examples of sapogenins are quillaic , Gypsogenin , yamogenin Tiggenin , Neogitogenin , Tokorogenin , diosgenin , Hecogenin or digitogenin .
