Sara Cunial (born July 8, 1979 in Rome ) is an Italian politician .

Career

Cunial was born in Rome into a family with a Venetian background. She graduated from the University of Padua with a degree in chemistry . In 2018 she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament for the constituency "Veneto 2" for the five-star movement . There she is a member of the Agriculture Committee. In 2019 she came into conflict with her party after she made a connection between the death of the olive trees in Puglia and an allegedly involved "agromafia". This led to her exclusion from the M5S. In the same year, she submitted an unsuccessful motion in parliament, according to which the competent authorities of Italy should stop all experiments and approvals of the new 5G network . Cunial is also a declared opponent of vaccinations and in a parliamentary speech on May 14, 2020 called on the Italian judiciary to initiate a case against Bill Gates for crimes against humanity through vaccination campaigns.
