Sardhana is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Meerut district . Sardhana has the status of Nagar Palika Parishad and is divided into 25 wards (constituencies). Sardhana had 58,252 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 30,171 were men and 28,081 women.
It is located 85 km northeast of New Delhi and 21 km from Meerut . Sardhana is known for its cloth industry and the Basilica of Our Lady of Grace .
