Sargodha is a large city in the Pakistani province of Punjab . It is located 175 km west of the metropolis of Lahore and about the same distance south of the capital Islamabad . Sargodha had 659,862 inhabitants at the last census (2017). Its economy is traditionally agricultural, but it is also home to a university and Pakistan's largest air force base. Doctors of various origins work at the Fatima Hospital in Sargodha.
