Sartorius (collection of laws)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sartorius collection of German constitutional and administrative laws was founded by Carl Sartorius from 1903. It is published today by the CH Beck publishing house. Like the Schönfelder , the public law Sartorius text collections are held in a red plastic cover, whereby higher quality leather covers are also offered in connection with a subscription contract.

In addition to the source text collection (also: Sartorius I), the following have also appeared:

  • Sartorius II: International Contracts, European Law
  • Sartorius III: Administrative Laws (Supplementary Volume for the New Federal States [formerly: GDR Sartorius])

Since 2003 there has been a supplementary volume for the Sartorius I, which has included a number of subsidiary laws. The Sartorius volumes thus cover a large section of public federal law . Together with the Schönfelder text collections, they represent almost all of federal law with the exception of special federal legal ordinances and federal statutes.

The text collection is kept as a loose-leaf publication and is updated about three times a year. The ISBN of the basic work reprinted after each delivery is published is ISBN 978-3-406-45645-9 . The text collection is now also available on CD-ROM as Sartorius plus.

The Sartorius I is one of the aids permitted in the first and second final legal exams .
