Sascha Backhaus

Sascha Backhaus (born October 18, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Backhaus left school and his parents' house as a teenager and lived for a year in a trailer park on the outskirts of Hamburg. He sang in a punk band and in 1998 won the casting for the feature film Oi! Warning against forty competitors as the leading actor. In this 1999 film, he played the runaway Janosch, who joined a group of skinheads for the sake of his friend Koma , but then fell in love with the melancholy punker Zottel (Jens Veith).

After that, Backhaus began training as a carpenter in Hamburg after several broken apprenticeships and occasionally worked as an extra. He was seen again in 2003 in the short film Lucie & Vera .
