Sascha Disselkamp

Sascha Disselkamp (* 1964 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a German club operator, restaurateur and former actor .

Life

Having grown up in the small Westphalian town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Disselkamp dropped out of high school at the age of 17 and went to West Berlin after visiting the city on a school trip. He moved into an occupied house on Winterfeldtplatz . Disselkamp first worked as an actor and took on the lead role in the film Die Heartbreakers by Peter F. Bringmann in 1982 , in 1984 in the Paris-Dakar Rally alongside Iris Berben and in 1987 in Gambit .

In 1985 he opened his first punk rock club Sexton in Schöneberg . Since 1997 he has been the operator of the Sage Club at the Heinrich-Heine-Straße underground station and, for a short time, of the Big Eden on Kurfürstendamm , which he took over from Rolf Eden . He is also a member of the board of the club committee and fights in this role e.g. B. against dwindling open spaces and rising rents. In addition to the Sage Club , Disselkamp also runs the Sage Restaurant on the banks of the Spree, opposite the East Side Gallery . He is intensely committed to the preservation of this longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall .

Disselkamp lives with his girlfriend and three children in the now legalized house on Winterfeldtplatz in Berlin.
